      USB

      ACCES offers USB data acquisition and control in standard and embedded/OEM USB/104 board-only options. These USB DAQ devices are perfect for a variety of applications requiring monitoring, control, or industrial serial communications. Over 100 different models and options (including extended temperature) are available.

      USB-OEM

      ACCES now offers USB-based data acquisition and control in both standard packaging and embedded OEM USB/104 board only options. Our USB OEM product line features two different size form factors – USB/104 and USB/PICO.

      PCI Express


      High performance PCI Express (PCIe) data acquisition and control cards from ACCES: Choose from analog, digital, and serial I/O cards for your next application. The bandwidth of PCI Express (PCIs) is more than double that of PCI in a x1 slot and also features both hot-swap and hot-plug installation. If you don’t see what you need, ask us – we’ll make it for you.

      PCI Express Mini Card


      PCI Express Mini Card, commonly abbreviated as mPCIe, or Mini PCIe, is a newer form-factor for PCI Express devices. Designed with the older Mini PCI standard in mind they are the same basic form-factor (commonly used in small-form-factor devices like laptops and other portables) but lack the retention clips of Mini PCI. Unlike the original PCI Express bus, Mini PCIe provides both the standard PCI Express and USB 2.0 signals, allowing flexibility in peripheral design. The standard is highly suitable for industrial automation and test in vehicle, mobile, or any other shock / vibration sensitive application.

      M.2

      M.2 (the bus formerly known as NGFF) is a new, more flexible alternative to PCI Express Mini Cards (mPCIe) for use as a multi-purpose small-form-factor embedded computer expansion bus. Designed for versatility, M.2 supports both smaller and larger footprints than mPCIe, and consumes less power, making it a perfect choice for a variety of embedded applications.

      A small form factor (3.6 x 3.8in) computer board intended for use in embedded PC systems, these rugged self stacking modules allow for an expandable system without the burden of a backplane with a fixed number of slots.

      ETHERNET

      Our products are designed to cover the most common industry applications. Full selection of analog, digital, and serial I/O products with Ethernet connectivity allows for easy simple to use data acquisition and control.

      PCI

      ACCES’ PCI/PCI-X bus data acquisition and control (DAQ) cards are designed to cover the most common industry applications. Our full selection of PC-Based plug-in analog and digital I/O, multifunction, isolated, relay, serial, and watchdog cards guarantees we’ll have a product to match your application.

      REMOTE DATA ACQUISITION

      The REMOTE ACCES pods are intelligent sensor to computer interfaces. Well over 200 pods may be connected via a two wire multidrop RS-485 network allowing a cable distance of up to 4000ft. You can also go wireless and extend your range by adding RS-485 wireless transceivers. Each unit comes in a rugged NEMA 4 enclosure and can withstand harsh industrial and marine environments.

      LEGACY/ISA

      Products that we’re still proud of, but which time has, for the most part, rendered less-than-suitable for new customers. ACCES will continue to support these products for many years to come, but we can’t recommend them for new projects.

      ETX (Embedded Technology eXtended) bridges the gap between custom and COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) embedded OEM solutions.       ANALOG INPUTS

      Analog Input boards are useful for measuring variably changing conditions in the real world. The device that converts this data is an analog-to-digital converter (abbreviated ADC or A/D). ACCES’ Analog Input boards amplify and multiplex input signals and offer voltage, current, and resistance types of analog input signal compatibility.

      ANALOG OUTPUTS

      Analog Output boards are useful when you need an output where the condition is not just an on or off state. Analog Output boards convert digital values generated by software into the analog voltage or current signals required for controlling frequency inverters, valves, sliders, brightness of lights, or things controlled by motors and other mechanical transducers.

      DIGITAL INPUTS / OUTPUTS

      Digital I/O products fit into many applications. In many cases, we only need to know whether something is true or false, on or off, in one position or another. A Digital Input can determine what we need to know, and Digital Outputs let us control the real world, switching from one state to another.

      Relay (EM & SS) Outputs and Isolated Inputs

      Relay is the name for a switch that is operated electro-mechanically (EM) or electronically (Solid-State). Their main task is to make and break connections to control the flow of current in electrical circuits. They’re used for various purposes ranging from validating semiconductors to interfacing low power computers or microcontrollers with high power machinery.

      USB Hubs

      USB has become so prevalent in all industries that expanding the number of available USB ports is increasingly necessary, even for embedded use. ACCES USB Hubs include industrial temperature and rugged designs optimized for this market. With a growing product line including USB 2 and USB 3 — even USBC! — you’re sure to find a solid solution for your needs.

      SERIAL COMMUNICATION

      ACCES I/O has Communication Cards for all of the popular protocols you may find (RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485), ranging from a single port to eight ports on a single card. There are also optically isolated versions to ensure effective data transmission on long communication lines, even in electrically noisy environments.  Isolated port-to-PC and Tru-Iso™ port-to-port units protect valuable equipment from data corruption and damage.

      SIGNAL CONDITIONING

      Signal Conditioning and sub multiplexers increase signal compatibility and reduce the cost-per-point of analog inputs, by bringing multiple signals into a single channel of the ADC.

      ACCES’ line of sub-multiplexers include flexible onboard signal conditioning.

      QUADRATURE and Other Counters

      Our Quadrature counter product line offers 1×, 2×, and 4× count modes as well as “True Pulse” and other flexible options for all your counting needs.

      WATCHDOGS

      Watchdog Cards offer excellent protection against CPU malfunctions at a low cost. These products can continuously monitor your critical PC functions (software and hardware) and if an error occurs, the card automatically generates outputs that can be used to initiate corrective actions, generate alarms, or reboot your computer.

      WIRELESS

      Wireless I/O enables you to monitor, acquire and process data from remote sensors, or control analog or digital outputs, all this over a wireless serial communications link. With just a single serial port on your PC, you can control up to 255 of our Wireless I/O Pods. Eliminate costly cable repairs. Spend less time and money.

      SCREW TERMINALS

      Screw terminal accessories include adapters, boards, cards, connectors, etc. Some products can be used with other digital or analog ACCES I/O cards and can be easily mounted to a panel or plate, or for desktop development.

      SIGNAL CONDITIONING

      Sensors that are used to collect the data from the environment often don’t produce signal of characteristics optimal for an analog to digital converter (ADC) to translate to digital data. Additionally, these signals can be subject to electromagnetic interference (EMI) that introduces noise, having a negative impact on the reliability of the data.
